Flying with Friends

A real perk of a two-seat glider is being able to fly with others. Even an average day can be made exceptional by sharing the fun.

1,109 km with Lois Fleury. Lois is a glider pilot from France, he spent the summer at CuNim. We flew way south, getting low twice over the USA. He didn’t have a Visa for the US, so it’s a good thing we didn’t have to land. Flight here
Phillipe Erdmer
Andrew, a friend of Mike Busutill. Andrew has a staggering amount of short flights as a glider instructor in Cadets, so we headed out for his longest flight ever.
Raff, trying out the Arcus. Their Arcus showed up several months later.

Marta’s first flight in our big bird
Marta and Chester bang out a 1000+ km flight
Gerald Ince and I do the first 1000km flight in ZWW. Cold day, -27C at 18000 feet. I have good visibility, but icing on the inside of the canopy makes it impossible for Gerald to fly by the end of the day

James Decoux. James is a big RC fan, he turns out to also be able to handle a 1:1 scale FPV model… 🙂
